Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

These terms govern your use of designmyink.ai (the "Service"), operated by DesignMyInk. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

DesignMyInk uses AI to generate tattoo concept images from your description. These are intended to inspire and brief a professional tattoo artist. They are not finished stencils and we don't tattoo anyone — see our AI & tattoo disclaimer.

2. Pricing, free trial & codes

3. Your content & the designs

You're responsible for what you enter. Don't submit prompts that infringe someone else's intellectual property, use a real person's likeness or a brand/logo without rights, or that are unlawful, hateful or harmful.

Subject to these terms and your payment (where applicable), you may use the design we generate for you for your personal purposes — including getting it tattooed. To the extent we hold any rights in the generated image, we grant them to you for that use. We make no guarantee that an AI-generated image is unique or free of resemblance to existing works, and you're responsible for checking your design before using it commercially.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no automated scraping or bulk abuse, no attempts to bypass limits or payment, and nothing illegal. We may suspend access for breach.

5. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Subject to that, the Service is provided "as is", and to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you or your tattoo artist make based on a design.

6. Changes & governing law

We may update the Service and these terms as we develop the product. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
